Green class have been talking about how we know it is winter. We noticed it now gets dark very early and it is getting colder. We keep hoping it will get cold enough to have snow!
We have been using a thermometer to measure the temperature. We learnt that water freezes into ice at 0. We took some ice and explored how to make it melt quickly. We found it melts fastest when we put it somewhere warmer such as in some water or in our hands.
