Making observations

This week we are trying to find out about an animal by looking very, very closely.
Can you go on an animal hunt in your local area – you might find an ant, lady bird or a snail. Watch it closely for as long as you can and see what you can find out.

  • What does it eat?
  • How does it move?
  • How many legs does it have?
  • Can it see you or hear you?
  • Where does it like to be?

Maybe you could then look in a book or on the internet and see what else you can find out about your animal.
