In class this week we are going to be playing with bubbles. You can join in too, if you have bubble mixture (or washing up liquid) and a wand at home. Take some photographs and send them to us. Or you could look at these pictures of bubbles.
How many different things do you notice about the bubbles?
Why do you think the bubbles are round?
What makes them burst?
Can you draw a bubble? How could you make it look real?
MAKE A BUBBLE CATERPILLAR
To make a bubble caterpillar you will need bubble mix, a bubble wand and a straw.
- Blow a single bubble, catch it on your wand and hold it upside down
- Dip your straw into the bubble mix and use it to blow a bubble underneath the previous bubble
- Keep adding bubbles to create a long caterpillar.
